Make it social again
One of the most striking things I've experienced on Nostr is that the people I connected with online were exactly the same in real life. This was new for me—genuine connections being made through a digital platform. As the world becomes more digital, real-life interactions and connections are becoming even more valuable. Meeting face-to-face at Nostr events deepens bonds and creates lasting memories that online interactions simply can't replicate. After all, we are social animals at heart.
Every year, there are major Nostr events like Nostrica in Costa Rica, Nostrasia in Tokyo (the first one I attended), and Nostriga in Riga, Latvia. Plus, local Nostr meet-ups are constantly popping up. A great app to discover upcoming Nostr events is Comingle.
